Yet another Sunday ride alternative

Post by The Princess »

Garth and I are planning another trip out to Metchosin/Sooke area tomorrow to get a few hills and a bit more distance in. We're planning to leave Cook Street Starbucks at 7:30 a.m and hope to cover 100K or so with around 1300 to 1500m of climbing. B1 type pace. Let us know if you want to join us.

Anyone interested in another trip out to Metchosin/Sooke area tomorrow to get a few hills and a bit more distance in?
Plan to leave Cook Street Starbucks at 7:30 a.m and hope to cover 100K or so with around 1300 to 1500m of climbing. B1 type pace.
Hopefully I'll have something left in the legs after the Goldstream Heights ride today...

I'm going to try to make to the alternative ride but if I'm not there ... don't wait. I'll make it next week.

Another fun ride out to Metchosin/East Sooke. There was 7 that turned out for it: Stephane, Martin, Andy, Lisa, Richard, Tim and myself. Was able to show some in the group new climbs and fun descents!
We had ideal conditions (cool temps and not much wind), great company and beautiful scenery. Looks like there were lots of Strava PR's and cups!
Thanks for a great ride everyone!
