For those not doing Goldstream Heights, the Sufferfest will ride on. 6:05 rollout from Cook St. Starbucks.

See you in Sidney. Pray for dry roads or you'll be eating my road spray (had to commit to one bike last night and chose to soak my chamois on the wet roads in the hopes that freedom from fenders will be the right choice by 0700).

I'm going to give it a shot. I'm fenderless too (damn Specialized Plug and Play fenders require an engineering degree to install). The forecast is for "periods of rain ending this morning", so maybe we'll get lucky.

Any non-BLR riders out there planning do to SF in the morning tomorrow? I'm on the fence. If no one replies, I may hop off the fence on the side that allows for more sleeping.

Any takers for this ride tomorrow? Lordy, summer rides and slackerness take their toll... Don't make me resort to partaking in the overly-popular OBB ride again... Which I will do if I'd be all alone at 6am.

Let's resume the usual ride tomorrow. I'm not feeling very creative. But I am feeling energetic. Cook Sbux 0605 roll-out.

Very tempting-I have a bottle of Pinot which might preclude my getting up in the morning, but if I do....
PS: Anyone planning on watching the Olympic road race anywhere- finishes around 11h30 apparently...

Quasi-semi-commitments to consider joining the ride will not be acknowledged. Unless you consider a 6:15 knock on your door to be acknowledgement.

Blowing y'all up at the Yacht Club and then bailing at Mattick's was pretty poor manners on my part. Sorry bout that. It was my first taste of Saturday Suffering and I was a poor judge of expectations.
It was a tough morning in other ways and in retrospect I probably should have stayed solo. But I look forward to joining in on the full meal deal one of these days.

Is anyone Suffering tomorrow? Seems it could be a great day for a speedy loop if we can get enough people out...?

I'm on my winter bike (summer wheelset in for repairs) but thought I'd turn up for as long as I could hang in there...

Where do you meet and what is the route? I may even join instead of a run workout.
