Dallas Road TT 2016

Hi all;
The Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series is bringing back the Dallas Road TT for their 2016 event! The TT is always a crowd favourite and will run on the evening of June 3rd. As in past years, Tripleshot has been asked to help with setting up the course and marshaling the event.
I will be at sea that week and so I need someone else to step up and take responsibility for co-coordinating the volunteers. There's really not much to it. Post a request for volunteers (around 25) on the Forum, and then assign the volunteers to specific roles and locations along the route. Easy-peasy, right?
If you can help me with this, please send me a note. As a carrot, I will offer two free entries ($100 value) to MEC's Century Ride which runs on May 1st. As part of your FREE registration you will be entitled to a cider tasting and food following the ride at the picturesque Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse. See
http://events.mec.ca/node/100801 for more details.
Thanks,
J.

Barton Bourassa has kindly stepped up to co-ordinate the Tripleshot volunteers for the Dallas Road TT. We usually need about 25 people, so if you are willing to help out, please reply here.
Thanks Barton!

Hope to race and then volunteer when I'm done. So: late marshalling and breakdown.

If you're on the fence about whether you want to donate your Friday night to this event, here's a cheezy edit I made five years ago when Ryder Hesjedal competed:
https://vimeo.com/rolfwarburton/dallas-road-tt (Forgive the art-film intro and my rambunctiousness.)
Set-up and breakdown are fun, team activities. And marshalling gives you the best seat in the house to watch some inspiring and crazy-fast cyclists zoom by.
We're a big part of keeping the roads closed and safe. It's a hoot to feel like the whole waterfront stretch between the cemetery and Mile Zero—that we ride all the time and know so well—is in the exclusive possession and care of Tripleshot.

The best job is getting to sit at the back of the van and drop red cones every 30m while Jim drives down the median of the course from one of the other! Unfortunately I'll be at sea and will miss the event this year, so someone else will get the pleasure.

John I certainly can help. Take down easier timing than set up because I may well be driving from a swim meet relay at 5 to make the TT by 6.
Is a house near Dallas Road (Clover Ave) of any use for your plans? My husband be home can make it available.
