Has anyone tried this on a road bike?

Seems like a good option for a winter bike that spends a lot of time in puncture inducing conditions?

Stan's in the tube has been my standard operating procedure for the last couple of winters. Make sure your valve stems are removable (flat edges if you squint at them). 1/2 a little bottle of Stans. Bit messy at times when topping up pressure and once in a while it seals the valve stem, making it hard to back it out for pumping. Works brilliantly. Rode this week end on new wheels without a chance to do the prep. First winter flat in a while. Back on the road.......

Good to hear you're back, Brian.
We all want to know what it's like to cycle with a bionic hip!

Thanks guys.
Alan--right now it's slow, and I am, like my avatar, a bit puffy. Cheers

Welcome back Brian! That electric hip-motor addition was a great idea!
