They say Barton was mad, frothing and spewing,
What in heck’s name was the rest of us doing?
We think he yelled “rolling” it sounded to us,
So he should’a pedalled hard to jump on our bus.
We left him there cold, with Paul, Mike and Martin,
So why was he mad, the phlegmatic** Barton?
Cursing us, calling us inscrutable turds,
With the joyous soothing of Paul’s many words.
We’d see him at coffee, that IS what we said,
He’s with other riders, no tears should we shed.
This guy's a paradox, we shouldn’t feel sad.
Barton’s only happy, when he’s hopping mad.
