Train in Girona Spain this year

Greetings TS'ers

As you begin to plan your cycling adventures for 2016 and beyond, I thought you may be interested in a great place to stay in Spain.

My cousin Tomás has a home in the town of Pedret i Marzá, in the province of Girona (Gerona).

It is an amazing location to ride pretty much at any time of the year. It is 1.5 hours north of Barcelona by train or car, 40 kms north of the city of Girona, 10 km from the Mediterranean and 25 km from the Pyrenees/French border. The village is small (about 90 people), quiet and safe. This is where my family and I stayed for a year in 2011-12 and where Isaac Leblanc trained this past fall.

The house is right in the centre of town. It is three floors with two roof-top patios, 2.5 bathrooms, 3-4 bedrooms, living room and a garage great for bike storage. It would be good for up to 6 people and possibly 8.
