I think they've been trying to get the word out. I've been seeing posts about it on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for about 10 days now, by the City of Victoria, the GVCC and some bike stores.

Have a look at the City's neato, colourful map of the future and consider taking their short online survey, seeking feedback on Victoria's proposed 2018 All Ages and Abilities [Cycling] Network:

It's data like this that helps public bodies justify making progressive decisions that may upset certain constituents down the road (e.g. subordinating motor vehicle traffic to the needs of cyclists.
