Tripleshot Cycling

Hi. Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, but I'm thinking of trying the cx race at Topaz on Oct. 12th. A friend had offered to lend me his, but he's racing intermediate and I'm thinking that might be my category.

For anyone who knows me - what cat. do you think would suit me best?
For anyone that's generous with their bike... and happens to ride a ~52-53cm... any chance I can borrow one for my first cx event?? I am a historical MTB racer, so know what I'm doing

Any other input (including booting me to the appropriate forum) is appreciated

Claire, since - as you say - you "know what you're doing", you should ride Intermediate women.

I would loan you my bike, but I will be riding right after that race, and will need it for warm-up and pre-ride.

Not to be callous, but I know Michelle Dann won't be riding her bike, so you might see if they'd be willing to loan that out. But it's also her baby, so she may be reluctant.

Anyway, hope you're able to make it out. It's a ton of fun, even when it's not.
