Cross Ride Saturday

I'm going to do a cross skills ride Saturday if anyone is interested in joining. It'll be 30-45 minutes of warming up followed by some laps of a simulated race course, interval style. So hard effort followed by recovery repeated a few times. Cool down after that, about 90 minutes total. If you're interested in joining post here. If there are enough of us, pylons may be involved.
I'm thinking coffee at Disco on Oak Bay at 7:00, rolling by 7:30. I can be flexible but it would be nice to get in and out of the parks before they get too busy.

Geoff,
Which parks do you plan to hit? I have been more run focused lately (and will be starting a run interval workout at 9:30 - if anyone wants to join me!) but I would like to get a bit of cross practice in (maybe, if I can wake up early...).

I am intrigued by both, but as I don't yet have a cx bike, would have to do it on my mountain bike.
Michael, what running interval work out did you have in mind? Where are you planning to do it?

I will try to make it, though I have a Summer cold, so sleep might be the better training....

Rob - I have that cold too! Get a sweat going to get rid of it!
Michael - likely BHP.
Sounds like the rain is coming - perfect for cx practice!

The Run is at Elk Lake (Dog Park/KM 0) at 9:30. It is a (Lifesport) coached interval workout so the interval is always a surprise! It could be mile repeats, km repeats, fartlek, progression run - or some other dastardly combination. Generally it ends up being between 10-12k of running with warm-up and cool down.
Sounds fun, doesn't it?

Shouldn't site administration be deleting this inappropriate material?

"probably" = "not going to".
In other words, I'm out.

Ya, there's one in Cumberland at 5:00. It's a cx crit that goes right through the Waverly Pub! A little bit of a drive but a fun event.
