Would you race on this frame?

Would you race on this frame? There is a fairly sizeable dent in the chain stay, but there is no crack. The frame is out of alignment. Should I race it until it fails? Or buy a new frame?

Sure, steel can take it, and more. Jam it in a sewer grate and bend 'er back.

Oops, not steel? Sorry. :P
Seriously, I've no idea and given the legal sensitivity floating around recently, this is not a good one to advise someone else on. But if it were me, given that it's not a place where the result of breaking will be disastrous, I'd go for it.

How'd you do it?

On the other hand cheap alu cross frames are under $200.

From the eggbeater pedals, it looks like it's being used for racing cross (if it isn't, it should) - which means the worst that is likely to happen is that the stay will fold under your mighty torque as you slowly emerge from some sticky mud - if the wheel jams as the stay collapses, you bail in slow motion onto what is (hopefully) something soft...

which to me sounds preferable to having it die coming down off King George at 60k - just a thought...
