Public shaming for all you non-volunteers

Post by Alan »

Ok, as the self-appointed volunteer shamer for the Legislature Crit on Sunday the 7th, it's time to threaten and browbeat those who haven't yet volunteered for a 3 hour shift.

We need about 10 more volunteers.
If you haven't yet volunteered (you know who you are) then go look in a mirror and ask yourself, what's 3 hours of volunteer work compared to all the fun and excitement I get riding with Tripleshot?
If you can still hold that gaze and not feel intense, withering shame, then go ahead, make my day and add YOUR name here: http://tinyurl.com/makypyv

Don't hesitate or you too could become the subject of a very public, nasty poetic smackdown. (just ask Strava Steve how much fun that is!)

Alan, I can do a an 11 until 2 shift. I have to say though that given the facility at which someone like Steve with obvious mental health issues is able to parry your poetic smackdowns my offer of volunteerism has little to do with your threat of public shaming. Nancy may help out as well.

For others who may be thinking of helping out my plan is to do some early Tolmie repeats, join the Sunday ride and then go to the legislature. If the threat of shaming by Alan does not motivate you either perhaps a cycle of cycling activities will.
