Victoria Gran Fondo end of July 2015

I got word today that the VGF is being well supported this year and will have a number of new sponsors. The really good news is that Kim Gard is organizing and she does a fabulous job. She will also arrange the Victoria to Cowichan Wheelers ride which is one of my favorite events. I gather VGF will be the same 270km loop and will finish with a post ride event at The Lighthouse Pub!

I have a special rate for the Victoria Gran Fondo for Tripleshot members. It should be an amazing event. The entry is at a substantially reduced rate but does not include the dinner at the Empress. No offence to the folks at the VGF (they run a fine event...I did it a few years back) but I doubt that their "special rate" can compete with ours.

Last year Tripleshot charged, um....$0.00 for our 2nd annual "Big Loop Ride" along the exact same route! In terms of support we had Marcus and Nancy providing "chuckwagon duty" in their Westie, and Al and Shannon zipping up and down the peloton on their motorbikes to provide additional support. 24 riders completed the 270km ride and had a really great day.

Tripleshot's 3rd annual "Big Loop Ride" will run on Sunday, July 19th. Like that Dutch guy from the ING Direct commercials used to say "Save YOUR money".
