Re: VCL 2015 - Schedule (Draft)
Thanks MIke. The VCL webpage shows no race the 5th, while this one does. Can you confirm which is correct?

Re: VCL 2015 - Schedule (Draft)
Don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I couldn't find a general e-mail on the VCL website.
I'm going to be working in Victoria and plan on doing some of these events in my downtime. I race here in Ontario and have my UCI license through the Ontario Cycling Association, I noticed on their website that they want one to have BC insurance.
However, I know that my UCI license is valid throughout Canada, so will this be sufficient to partake in these races?
Thanks,
Richard

Lister,
It appears that the draft schedule has been revised to remove the April 5th Race.

Re: VCL 2015 - Schedule (Draft)
Richard I will reply,
A UCI license will work for race entry. If you want to take advantage of club rides while in town it would be desirable from an insurance perspective to pay the 30 bucks and join one of the many clubs who organize the races. I don't think anyone has compiled a full list of group rides in the city but in the this part of town, near the jubilee hospital there are at least 10 scheduled rides a week.
Enjoy your visit...
