Meeting on Wed. Dec. 10 RE: Vuelta in Mexico, April 2015

Over the past several weeks, a significant number of Tripleshotters have expressed interest in heading down to Bucerias in April for the Vuelta de Jalisco y Nayarit*.
To get a solid sense of how many are serious about going, and to provide an opportunity to get answers to any questions you might have about the destination and/or the event, I'm going to hold a meeting on Wednesday, December 10 – 7:00 pm at Spinnaker's Pub (308 Catherine Street).
Joel of Bici Bucerias has provided some preliminary thoughts on pricing. See below. I'm confident that with sufficient numbers, we can negotiate an even better package price. Ditto for flights. (Richard looked at flights this morning. Direct flights, taxes and all, are $727 for Apr 25 to May 2. With a group of 10 or more, we would be eligible to negotiate a discount with WestJet.)
Please let me know if you'll be coming Wednesday evening so I know how big of a table we'll need. Also let me know if you're keen to participate but can't make the Wednesday meeting.

Preliminary pricing (based on double occupancy and booked before January 15th)
Arrival on April 24th/25th departure on May 2nd • $1,500 USD
- Guided intro group ride (Saturday)
- Entrance to Gran Fondo (Stage 1)
- Full supported KOM challenge for stages 2 through 6
- Accommodations for up to 8 nights
- 7 dinners
- 7 breakfasts
- Hydration/food during tour
- Transfers from airport
Non Rider • $650 USD
- Up to 8 nights' accommodation in Bucerias
- 3 dinners (welcome dinner, pre gran fondo dinner and farewell dinner)
- Transfers from airport
