Crap flaps required

Hey folks,
Just a reminder that fenders alone are insufficient for rainy day group riding. You should have a crap flap on the back that closes the gap between fender and road to 2-3". I noticed on the ride this morning that a number of fenders either had no crap flap or crap flaps that were too narrow or too short to be effective. For example, the manufacturer's crap flaps included with SKS Raceblades (which is what I use), are insufficient. Throw them out and buy the awesome reflective Tripleshot crap flaps available on the kit website (pick them up from Barton once you've paid)

or fashion your own. It's not just a matter of comfort but also of safety, as having water sprayed on your glasses combines with bright rear lights and road glare to make visibility really tough for the folks behind you.
Thanks! And kudos to all who braved the elements this morning.
