Fun in the Sun rides Jan 22 to 31 in San Diego’s North Shore, Oceanside who's in? My flight and hotel are already booked. Several of you have expressed interest now let's see who's going.
Oceanside is a classic California beach community with its warm sandy beaches, historic wooden pier and Cape Cod-style harbour village complete with unlimited fantastic rides throughout the area.
Enjoy your stay at the Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort. This oceanside resort is just a few blocks away from the downtown area, which boasts numerous opportunities for dining, shopping and entertainment and the location between San Diego and Los Angeles puts all the charms of Southern California within easy reach especially as the popular and convenient rail train transit line is just a short stroll away eliminating the need for a rental car.
Check out expedia.ca for great flight + hotel deals with a variety of room options. If you would like to bring your spouse you can get a room and flights for 2 from $973 per person including taxes as of today 16 August. Yes that's right 9 nights at a resort on the beach in sunny California with 10 days of riding as can ride the day you arrive and leave if you want to. It's relatively quick and easy to fly from Victoria to San Diego with no time zone changes.
Stay longer leave earlier it doesn't matter just join in for some fun in the sun with a variety of great rides. Those of you going to Sardinia or wanting a good start to the racing season or for those of you who just want to ride book your Fun in the Sun rides today.
Not sure to go or not undecided no problem come to the Fun in the Sun ride barbecue being held at my place on September 7th. to see who's going, who's booked, who's thinking of going. Beef, chicken and veggie burgers will be served if you could bring an appetizer, salad or munchies that would be great.
Please RSVP by 31 August if your coming to the Fun in the Sun ride barbecue. Spouses / partners welcome and encouraged as it may be the only way that some of you may be allowed to go is if you bring them with you. Address is 1403 - 834 Johnson St. free street parking on Sundays or park at the Robins Parking lot across the St. Buzz 1403 at the front door start time say 5:00 ish.
