Tripleshot Cycling

Anybody up for a scenic ride to Courtenay this weekend? I'm riding up there leaving here early Friday morning, (6ish?) with the ultimate destination of the Vancouver Island Musicfest where we'll be staked out all weekend. My kid is fiddling on the mainstage on Saturday so I kinda have to be there. Since I'm sending the family ahead in the car I was looking for some company to ride with, even for part of the way. (it's only 223 km to Courtenay and good training for the Big Loop). Maybe ride with me as far as Nanaimo or Duncan? C'mon, I know you want to... If interested, shoot me an email, cassels@uvic.ca
I'd like to say that only those fast Tripleshotters with a wide ass that I can draft behind need apply but even any random randonneurs, you'd do in a pinch....

Three of us are heading to the Brentwood Bay ferry, leaving from UVIC (where we meet on the circle for the Thursday morn TT ride) at 6:20. The ferry is at 7:30 and we'll make our way along the nice coastal route towards Nanaimo. IF there's any takers, please join us either at Uvic, or at the ferry.
