Casually scanning the list of yesterday's fight to wear the Canadian TT jersey and Holy Cows! there are some familiar names darned high up these lists:

http://cyclingbc.net/cycling-bc/news/gl ... omen-para/

Anika: 3rd place, Women's elite
Jay: top-10, U23; top 30, Men's elite
Dylan C.: top 30, Men's elite

Some other notable Victorian achievements:
Rob Britton: 4th place, Men's elite
Curtis Dearden: 9th place, Men's elite

These are incredible, world-class performances by athletes we've had the privilege to ride alongside. Huge congrats to each of them!

(I don't know how anyone can hold 42-45 km/h for an hour. Insane.)

They just pedal faster.

Or as Svein Tuft explained to Tony Z on how to do a good TT:
First you get your cadence up to about 100 rpm. Maintain that cadence while continually shifting into harder gears until you are going the speed you want to go.
