Here's a way to warm up for Hurricane Ridge:

This weekend, Mercury Rising Triathlon is doing a two-hour Observatory Challenge:

SATURDAY JUNE 28TH.
Group will meet at at Lochside school at 9 AM. We will take the SHORTEST route to the hill.
We will begin the event precisely at 9:30 sharp!
How it works - you climb from the bottom gate (deer X crossing sign) to the fire hydrant at the entrance to the top parking lot. Get in as many repeats as possible in the two hour time.
At the 2 hour mark - turn around and roll back down from wherever you are on the hill.
Obviously, helmets must be worn and sensible descending is a must!

Coach Clint will be at the bottom of the hill w/ nutrition and water.

Everyone is welcome so pass the word!

Very tempting! Let's see now; how many km and how much elevation can I get in if I start at 7 and meet you at 9:30? One or two laps of Munn?!
