Hey folks,

I've registered for the Men's Class 4/Citizen race (25 laps) at the Bastion Square Crit this Sunday. I believe today (Wed) is the deadline to register. Hope to see others out there!

Hmm…now I'm wondering if I should have registered for Men's Masters 40+. Might be more of a B-pace than Men Cat 4/Citizen. Thoughts?

As an observer over the years, I would suggest that the masters category may be a more friendly pace than a cat 4 race. But make no mistake - there are a bunch of really fast masters guys out there. Just be ready to pin it right from the hop...

We should really get a group of TSers post Sunday ride to cheer on everyone!

Ditto on that. At the start, be attentive and ready to go. Even something as insignificant as not getting clipped in quickly is enough to open a gap that you may never close.

Good luck!

Thanks Richie and Jeff...I'll add that advice to my list:

1. Don't crash
2. Don't crash
3. Avoid crashes
4. Be ready to pin it
5. Don't crash

See you all there. I'm gonna have coffee at Fairfield SB for 06:45 then leave for Bastion at 07:15 for more warm up and registration.

Looking forward to seeing a good day of races and some familiar faces :D

Good times!! Good sunburn!

I had a great day today racing, watching racing and visiting with the friendly folks from Triple Shot and the racing community. The Citizen/Cat4 race was full speed ahead as promised. A Kudos shout out to Richie who rocked a solid race, then blasted past the back of the field (myself included) and finished with an amazingly fast dash. I can only hope to look that good when I, well, 'get to be that age'. :)

Lots of other impressive Triple Shot jerseys representing today. I must say, I was proud to be sporting the club colors today.
