Great ride this morning guys. We did a good job of keeping the pace up while still keeping a good size group together the entire way around the peninsula. Stronger guys were rotating on the front, people were doing a great job riding doorman and letting everyone in the pace line know when it was their turn. I think everyone got a good workout in. I know I did. If you're comfortable riding b1, you should try this ride.

Nice seeing you all going the other direction in Brentwood.

Équipe Barton had a fabulous outing: good, steady, relatively flat (you know you're on a "flat" ride when people start whining because they have to go up Martindale/Welch) ride with about ten people. To keep things interesting, we ran a rotating paceline most of the way from the Red Barn up to Mt Newton X and back to Mattick's Farm. To keep things even more interesting, we alternated directions of rotation from time to time.

That'll blow the cobwebs away. :D

Thanks so much, lady and gentlemen.

Sufferfest for Saturday, May 24. Come one come all. Weather is looking good. I've got to be home by 9 am so as close to a 6 am start would be great. Shouldn't be a problem. I think we were done the sprint by 8:35 last week.

Yes, thanks to those dragging us around lands end, Dylan and Tony. And those who blew themselves up pulling a little too enthusiastically in the first half. (Tip:!if you're not sure you can finish with the lead guys, pull later rather than earlier, so they don't have to wait when the gas runs out.)

The only downside is the keeners who pulled had to skip coffee and we failed to agree on a coffee meet up spot. A TS ride with no coffee plan? Oh, the inhumanity. :(

I'll be there again this week (31st).
Coffee will be at disco downtown. :)

How about making the road race at Metchosin part of the loop or the coffee stop? We could arrange a couple coffee travellers for the sufferlandians? Good chance to cheer on either the jnr/cat3/masters or elites too.

I'd love to, but family obligations call.
I need to be home by 9:30, so regular peninsula route for me.
