You cyclist types might be interested in giving your feedback to The CIty of Vicotria in their Bicycle Master Plan. If you have been like me and have been forced off the road by buses trying to get to their bus stops 3 seconds earlier. Then reporting to the police with photos and being told that they get complaints by cyclist all the time, and the roads need to change to be safer for cyclist, this is a forum that might make for change in you want to give some input!
Note the deadline to register is FRIDAY!
The City of Victoria is holding workshops in May to get input for the Bicycle Master Plan. We would like to invite you and your members to participate and hope that you can share this information widely. Please see the details below and in the attached file.
Upcoming Bicycle Master Plan Workshops:
Workshop attendance is by registration only. Please email us your preferred session by Friday, May 9: bike@victoria.ca
If you cycle already, join us for one of these two workshops:

Wednesday, May 14, 6:30 p.m. – 9p.m., Da Vinci Centre, 195 Bay Street
Workshop for future cyclists: If you rarely bike or never bike, we want to hear from you!
Monday, May 26, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Location: Fairfield United Church 1303 Fairfield Road (This event is being hosted by SFU Carbon Talks.)
Whether you cycle daily, sometimes, or hardly ever we want to hear from you! The workshops will explore the following questions:
What would it take to get you on your bike?
What would you do to create a more inviting bicycle network?
What bike routes are currently working?
What links in the network are missing?
Where would you like new or improved bike routes in Victoria?
What is your vision for cycling in Victoria?
