It was great to see all of you at coffee this morning! Pete, sorry there were no cookies when you were there. You should have stayed around – Quitter!

I want to say thanks to all of you who donated money for my rehab. I know I have said thanks before, but I want to re-iterate how much it meant and means to me. Yep, I am shedding a tear! My rehab has progressed much quicker then I anticipated and hope to be back on group rides, holding up the rear, in the coming month. Now that I am on the bike sooner than I had anticipated I have not had the opportunity to head over the pool and purchase the all-rec pass. I have been going to the gym daily (which I already have a membership with as you could tell by huge pipes. CURLS FOR GIRLS), riding the trainer daily and going to physio weekly. At this time, I do not feel that I need the pass. Now I have all this money that I thought I would just head out and by a keg and enjoy it over a nice long weekend, but I have a better idea if none of you are opposed to it. As you know Sarah and I have put together a team for the CIBC Run for the Cure in the fall and I would like to donate the $340.00 to the run on behalf of Triple Shot. Please let me know if you are opposed to this. If no one is opposed, then I will go ahead and donate the money at the end of the month.

Thanks again

Bill,
Great to see you at coffee Friday morning. I guess I missed the treats too. It's fantastic, and almost unbelievable, that you have recovered so quickly that you can't use the rec pass. I'm fine with your plan to donate the cash to charity. You could also donate to the cops for cancer cause. Are you going to be there tomorrow anytime for the spin-a-thon?
Hope to see you again soon.
Make sure that red Cannondale doesn't dissappear to Alberta - your buddy Grant looked pretty comfortable on it.
Cheers,
Eric
