Week two of a three week build cycle.
100 K. I'll be leaving at 7:00 AM from Discovery Coffee on Menzies near Michigan and will likely follow the new Ryder route. The pace will likely be C+ in the 27, 28 Km/Hr Average Speed. Nothing too crazy. The idea for me is Long Slow Distance with lots of climbing. As usual, we will do our very, very best to keep the group together. If quicker riders want to, charge up the hills then turn around and come back all the way down to pick up the slower riders and ride back up again. Might be a way for you to burn more energy and for everyone to reach the top of the hills together and carry on without having to stop and wait. It would be good if we could keep the flow going!
Last week there were 12 out for the ride. My average over 80 K and about 1000 m climbing was just under 27 K/Hr. A little different than the sufferfest!
Here is the route:
May 3 100K

To Glen Lake Rd via Rocky Pt, Liberty, Lindholm, Happy Valley
Straight to Allouette

Oh, did I forget to mention Munn is on the menu this weekend? We'll be out for close to 4 hours so don't forget hydration and good nutrition to keep you going.
Hope to see you out there!
