Small mountain bikes to borrow?

The youth team is switching from cross to mtb rides on weekends, for handling skills and to keep out of the wind in winter. There are two kids looking to borrow mtbs to see if it appeals before they shop. Got a small bike that's not getting much use? Maybe ask a modest rental, or get them to do maintenance on it in return for use one day a week for a month or two? Thanks
