Heading to work at 5:15am hasn't actually been too bad frost/ice-wise. I say go for it.

Some of us have jobs that allow us to ride in the daylight hours. I'll be making grumpy people coffee just as you crawl out of bed.

Maybe the people would be less grumpy if you'd stop making coffee out of them.
(I'm finding pavement these mornings very scary)

Except for one or two frosty spots, the roads were pretty good for the nine of us this morning.

Hammerheads: were the streets actually rideable this morning? I looked out and the pavement did scintillate evilly. I promptly dove back under the duvet.

They weren't bad for the most part. We erred on the side of caution in some spots, but the only part that really made some of us nervous was the Beacon Hill loop.
Rides this time of year are mainly about attempting to retain a little of the summer fitness so we don't have to start from scratch again in the new year, so even a little more cautious of a ride is better than none at all.
