This years track season has once again reminded me that cadence training is hugely valuable for all kinds of racing. Garmins all do a wonderful job measuring cadence, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with cheaper ones like this http://www.mec.ca/product/5031-734/filz ... 0002+50331, that I could recommend to families of youth riders.

I used to use the cheaper Mec-level cadence sensors before hunger for Bluetooth enabled GPS tracking took over. They worked fine, although I would stick to the wired (vs. wireless) models.
