Mt. Doug Park Resurfaced

They have efficiently completed slapping down the new asphalt in Mt Doug Park from halfway up the little hill all the way down to Ash. I went through there on Monday and it was kind of like a semi-lunar landscrape, all dust and destruction, but it's all good now. Not sure what it was like last Friday. So it's all good to go for a full Blenkinslop loop in the morning. The only thing to watch for will be some possible warning signs on the shoulder just before the top of the hill. Everybody should do the full loop, even C if they don't usually. The chance to feel the silky soft caress of a fresh lay of smooth asphalt underneath your rubber doesn't come around every day, especially not on a regular route where you're used to dodging cracks and craters. One of those cracks at the top of the hill nearly took me out, and probably half the pack with me, on my first ever Tripleshot ride. That would have sucked. That won't happen now.
