Food Ride April 26th, 2013 leaving Mile 0 at 10:00.
FoodRide is a 10,000 km trans-Canada cycling trip and fundraiser for food banks. Adrian Arts and Megan Clark are the FoodRide cycling team, 2 Lakehead University students (one originally from Victoria). They will help coordinate, organize and implement food drives in over 20 cities en route, in partnership with university students and community volunteers.
There will be a kick-off ride from Mile 0 to the ferries on Friday, April 26th starting at 10am. This will be a supportive leisurely ride and is open to all. If you are free on Friday, please come out and help support these guys. I plan to be out in full TS kit. Come join me.
There is also a food drive at Broad St Cycles on Thursday till 6pm.
