Tirreno-Adriatico

Post by sylvan »

Anybody catch the stage this morning? The parcours for sure was very very terrible. Many riders had to get off and walk the bike up the horrific gradients that were featured on multiple circuits. There was a bit of griping afterwards, but the likes of Sagan and Nibali just got on with it and produced very beautiful moments of bicycle racing. Grab a torrent if you can...

Watched it on Sportsnet One, brutal stage. Chris Froome disappoints AGAIN on the last day of competition with the world #1 ranked team riding their butts off in support of him all week....

Definitely Stephane. I was a big fan of Taylor Phinney before, and even bigger now. Was looking forward to seeing him in the time trial tomorrow, that's a shame.
But will be great to see what he can do in Milan-San Remo on Sunday (which is on Sportsnet One by the way!)
