My son is building a commuter from an old mtb, and has a wood, natural rubber and leather theme going for trim on the matt black frame. (No Peter, I didn't make him hand forge a frame. He's new to this. ) He is however making a cool rack deck from an old skateboard with a lock slot cut in it. So I'm indulging his interest in a practical commuter with a touch of style.
So, he's looking for slick road tires with tan walls for the mtb wheels. Also seeking wood-look fenders, pedals and a brown saddle (leopard skin would be cool too
. Got cork grips.

Damn, that sounds like some of the crazy-ass coffee orders that I hear at Starbucks! Would you like a grande or a venti, sir?
