Tripleshot Cycling

We came up island for the weekend and drove the course today. The turnoff is just past the Cassidy pub. The start is 4 km in from the highway.

The road is in good condition but is relatively narrow and the first section is quite busy with the weekend river party floatation crowd. There is a particularily busy section at the 3 km mark. If we have the bodies I would suggest a marshall at this site.

Pete, you had initially mentioned 2 minute starting intervals and I would suggest this as it may get tight as teams overtake one another. Best to stretch it out a bit and prevent 3 teams from converging.

Also we should have someone as the designated photographer.

Thanks for the scouting info, Eric , but what about important things like short cuts, cars to give us a lift and strategies to slow down the rocket teams!
