It's Movember, Tripleshot bros and sistas

But not for much longer - John D's charitable comment about my 'stache Tuesday morning was, "Please tell me that's for Movember." Yeah, John, it is, and I like it as much as you do. But let's face it - how many men's health causes with real substance are there? And worth sacrificing your upper lip to for a few weeks? Having seen no posts on the subject, and observing only one other 3S Mo 'stache (the rest belong to guys who have chosen to, uh, make it a way of life) I figure I can step forward and make the plea, especially since prostate cancer primarily affects guys over 40, and we have a goodly population of those (or those soon to be in that bracket) in Tripleshot.
So what has this got to do with cycling, you ask? How about this: road cycling, once thought to aggravate the prostate (something to do with saddles) is now believed to combat it by contributing generously to overall health. It must be true - I read it on the INTERNET. Another good reason to get on the bike!
So if you're feeling charitable, consider getting out your plastic and making a donation to the war effort: http://ca.movember.com/mospace/4284313 - rest assured that I don't get a nickel; I have merely contributed my visage to scare people into getting involved. If you know someone else involved in Movember whose efforts you would like to support, go to the Movember.ca home page and search out their name to see if they're registered, and donate now! Cheers...
