Advice (words of wisdom) sought on booties and mitts

Okay, it is officially a new season..and with that time to look at the gear that wasn't working so well last year. I am looking for advice on booties and mitts.

Booties - I see a number of people with Sugoi Resistor Bootie, are they good? Do they keep your feet relatively dry? Any others that people can recommend that aren't too costly???

Mitts - I had a pair of Sugoi that were great for my first winter, but last winter my hands were often getting cold. I bought covers for them, but they make it quite clumsy and bulky. I tend to have colder hands, so any advice on good mitts for colder hands, again that aren't too pricey?

Supplementary question - Should the old mitts have worn out in just one season??? (or is my circulation just getting worse, or was last winter just a lot colder.. ).
so many questions, so little time.

thanks
Paula

I and a lot of the other juniors use two layers on the hands, a yellow pearl Isumi thermal glove, and a MEC outer-shell.

Last winter I bought these shoes: http://www.bikerumor.com/2012/01/05/rev ... ing-shoes/

1000 times better than any bootie. Will never give them up.

Still haven't found a glove that I swear by.

Much like Rolando I got these and so far I'd swear by them
