If you wish to do a long ride on Sunday, join me on a 200K. The route is from Lampson Rd-around the water to Sidney-Lands End-Interurban-Galloping Goose to Sooke-Otter Point-back to Sooke-Gillespie-East Sooke Rd-Lagoon-Old Island Highway-finish at Lampson Rd. There are a few twist and turns on the route so it is very helpful if you have a cycle computer to assist with the route navigation. While the ride is not a "no drop" ride, you can be assured, you will not be riding alone. You wont get lost. Details of the ride and can be found at:

http://www.randonneurs.bc.ca/routes/201 ... 3_200.html

Start time: 7am

Cost: $15 plus $20 for BC Randonnurers membership.

There will be a number control points along the route staffed by volunteers. Water and some food will be available (bananas, cookies) at the control stops.

The average rider will take between 8-9 hours to complete the course.

If you think you will ride, please register using Rando Pony (this is not a comittment). This will help the ride coordinator plan the staffing of the controls.

If you have any questions regarding the ride , please contact me (250 595-6790 email: mford@conwayinfo.ca) or speak to me at coffee on Friday after the Triple shot ride.
