May 13 - Newton Heights

Post by Plawless »

Hillfest continues.... switch bridge at 5:10 for the ride out. I have a late afternoon meeting so am not sure if I can ride out so don't wait for me but I will be at the race in any event even if I have to drive out (to get my ass fed to me - yum!)

I'll be at the bridge at 5:10 (pending a monsoon of course).

I too am developing a bit of a taste for my own ass. But it's beginning to grow on me - so hopefully after Newton, I'll be completely 'flavour acclimatised' in time for the BC Masters race next weekend.

Hey, what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger!

TCP Needed tonight

I won't be able to come out in uniform tonight and look after the stop sign, which requires a Traffic Control Person. If you know of someone who has the training please contact Geoff Pendrel at OBB: 250.598.4111.

Was a traffic control person found? Race still on? Anybody still riding out?

If this rain keeps up - not sure if I will go. Have been looking forward to the race all week - but after the weekend's incident, not sure if I want to risk a crash.

Hate to miss out, but not worth it.

Roland - I'll post again in an hour if I'm still on or not.

I just left a message with Peter to see if I can get a ride up. I'm not so keen on cycling there and I don't have a car this evening.

On the other hand, if it was Feb. we'd be celebrating this weather.

We need a team bus. I don't really want to ride out either.

I think I'm still going to ride out - it's going to really suck I must admit. But still trying to get from 'club cut' to 'race cut' - so I should probably suck it up. See you guys either at the bridge or out there!!
