Mayfair Starbucks 6AM

As a goal, lets try to go for the best average speed around the loop as a group, without dropping anyone. We'll try to collectively utilize everyones stregths and weaknesses to try to set the new best average speed. Weaker climbers can sit in leading up to climbs, pace the climbs, and sit in to recover right after the climbs. Once we hit the flatter waterfront we can trade pulls based on how everyone's feeling.

Jamie and I did the 50km at 35.8km/h average last week, which is the current "record"

Cool idea. Juniors are going to the track thursday afternoon or I would suggest they go if that's ok. Maybe another week?

Really good ride guys.
35.7km/h average, so we came up just short of the 35.8km/h goal, but lost some ground and momentum when Peter got attacked by Bambi going down uplands hill. He finished the ride on anger and adrenaline, but may be a bit sore today.
Roland went down as well earlier on after an unfortunately timed chain skip, and opted to head home. Hopefully his hand is alright.

Quote of the morning:

I agree - GREAT ride. hard, savage, fast = awesome!!!

The only thing I feel was unfair is that I was attacked by meat. I am a freaking Veg for crying out loud. Josh thinks its because I haven't been doing my part for population control - maybe he's right :?

My seconnd thought was who will the Olympic Team turn to now? First Ryder now me? Its looking grim.

Peter was rocking the uphill today as well.
Forgot to tell him beforehand there's 819m of ascent on the route.
