Do any of you keeners doing the "hill climb" want to make it a long hilly ride? We could start with a 90ish minute warm up- dominate the podium with argyle (Derek is in Hawaii)- then continue for a couple of hours towards East Sooke. Seems like a great way to spend a sunny day

Derek is in Hawaii ........ So, you're saying we have a chance at the podium now? Peter. What's the club policy on this? Can a member express such a lack of confidence in other members and still retain privileges? Derek is in Hawaii! Hey Kim, if the phone isn't ringing it's me ... or something like that.

The key point here is that this means Kim is doing the race!!!! I am game to ride out (meet at Buon Amicis at 8:30). I am not sure about getting a couple of more hours but as long as I am back by 1:00 that works for me.
I am hoping (based on last week) that Derek took 14 fellow cyclists with him..........

Peter, what the hell were you doing checking the forum at 4:30 a.m.? Is this a reflection of some strange desire for secret training?

That's Pete "Sleep is for losers" Lawless back home after his first ride of the day, killing time till we wake up.

Actually Lister is a bit off the mark on his comment above. While he is correct that Peter would just be coming home from the first ride of the day - Peter is actually reviewing the forum and posting 'witty' comments while keeping his HR at 93% on the Trainer before hitting the Road for a pre-Triple Shot Ride. (I cannot understand why I continue to lag behind Peter on the bike. There ought to be an explanation for it.)
Good Luck Team TSC at the Race today. I even heard that the course is basically pancake flat with just one gentle rise - ideally suited to our team

I'll leave it to you Mike to figure out what happened when you two were womb mates.
What's a 'Nields road' and how do you find out more about it? Google suggests it's a Vic cycling league event, but not where, or what kind.
