The GVVA has four great new programs for beginners happening this year, and needs coaches for them. To help folks get ready, we are offering a coaching course over 6 hours this weekend, with Jeff Ain, Cycling BC Youth Coach and Burnaby velodrome coach.
The course will count towards certification at NCCP Introduction to Competition for Track. For those who have comp intro for road and mtb, you do not need to repeat the Training Basics part of the course. This is the Skills and Tactics part of Comp Intro.
The new programs requiring instructors are BikeJam April 6, the School Bike League velodrome event in May, the Corporate Challenge in May and June, and Monday night beginner series starting in April.
Registration fee is $20.
