He's doing u23 Tour of Flanders
and Liege Bastogne Liege.
I think we should pass the hat and buy him a go pro camera for a movie night when he comes home.
And we should make him ride on the lawns and driveway edges on TS rides to simulate cobbles.

Well this looks like a fantastic opportunity to thank everyone in this club for their support.
When I started coming out regularly with Tripleshot last February this club has been a great starting point for my ventures into the sport of cycling. Special thanks to Peter for seeing potential in me, and creating a training plan to help me reach my very best.
Although this year I am racing with Russ Hay's/Accent Inns I will still be coming out on tripleshot rides, and supporting the club that has been instrumental in getting me to where I am.

That goes both ways. While Dylan is u23 and only a year into training in cycling, he's already supported the club and developing riders considerably. He donated a rear wheel right at the time Evan had bent his, donated some sti shifters in very good condition, and sold his road bike at considerably less than market value to Evan when he got a bike with his new team. Thanks for
your support Dylan.

You are going to love it Dylan. The cobbles are a lot worse than I imagined - Mountain biking skills were handy (i.e., picking lines that avoid the worst bumps, gaps, etc.). But, the course will suit you beautifully - short steep climbs and rough cobbles (often both at once) for making gaps and then flowing smooth surfaces for maintaining the break. And the support you'll get from the crowd will be amazing. I rode a few of the climbs over and over again and I found that the faster the better. Seems obvious, but the point is that most are short (Caddy Bay, Mt Tomlie etc.), so you can risk burning a few matches just to get to the top without incident and then count on some recovery once you're at the top. Slowing down half way up is not really an option - the road will reach up and grab your wheel. Kill it, then recover.
