Randonneurs 200k - Sunday 4th March

I will be riding this brevet which starts in Victoria. The ride is designed as a spring "tune-up". Ride your winter bike, as a good part of the Galloping Goose trail is not paved. The route is: Victoria-Galloping Goose to Sooke-Otter Point Road-Kemp Rd-Otter Point-Sooke-Galloping Goose back to Victoria-Sidney-back to Victoria by Lockside. I will post the 2012 route when it is finalized. I understand the main 2012 route change will be the start and finish locartion.

To ride the brevet one must be a member of BC Randonneurs. The annual fee is $20. Each ride is $15.

If you can't make the ride on the 4th, consider riding the Victoria Populaire scheduled for Sunday 25th March. See details at: http://www.randonneurs.bc.ca/victoria-populaire.html Cost $15 One does not have to be a member of the BC Randonneurs to ride the Populaire.

Hi Mark,
I look forward to the ride, sounds like a great event, and I could use the distance. I took a look at the webpage, and it sounds like I can register with the BC Randonneurs at the event?
