For those who missed it the first time, I received this note from the folks at Roads, Rails & Trails --announcing a showing of the bike film Veer at UVIC on March 19th, 7pm.

Hello: Victoria is Canada's Biking Capital, and bike use and facilities continue to grow each year.

This will invite you to see the Victoria Film Festival's sell-out feature, "Veer", introduced by Oregon State's bike advocate Scott Bricker, one of the movie's stars. Scott will do a Q&A session afterwards on increasing bike awareness, use, safety and pleasure.

This event is #3 in the region's Roads, Rails and Trails speaker series.

Where: David Lam Auditorium, MacLaurin Building, UVic
When: 7:00 pm Thursday, March 19

Tickets: $8 -- all proceeds to the film-makers and SPOKES, UVic's Bike recycling/bursary project.
