WTB Thule load bars 54" or longer (or trade for)

Help me get that Tour de France look for my car....(ok, Tour de France circa late-80's 
)
Just trying to shoehorn 6 bike mounts onto the volvo to go to cross provincials, and could do it with longer load bars. Any one got some bars to sell, or want to trade their longer ones (you know, the ones that annoy your spouse by bumping heads) for some 50" ones?
Thule bars are the square (rectangular) ones, I think other brands work too.
