A 'trailer'. I had a GoPro HD attached to my bike at Topaz Park... sorry not too many shots of the leaders... as I was well back in the pack, having given up any attempt at the holeshot!

Pretty cool, do you have a longer clip of the sprint finish between Colin & I?

Not much longer than that part... I'll check. I'm trying to compile a 'feature of the masters race without making it too boring. The trailer has more sizzle as it's short and sweet.

That was great B-Rad.
Love the cuts and the trailer tension. Cannes-style palmes d'or a nice touch.
"Wow is right"
Roland.

Can we commission you for a junior team promo piece?

For my part, I loved the course, something of everything but mostly rideable. Signature off-camber corners made every turn important. Particularly proud of riding the run-up (except once); glad I had the 34-27. Start was good too, third into the first corners. Lost ground after that, but better than playing catch-up. Good reason to race lots. Overall standings get you an early call-up.

For the juniors, it was very interesting, with Brenna falling at least once, and clawing her way back from 7th to 2nd, first junior. Alex fell about 5 times, a victim of worn tires, which we replaced for the following weekend, but still finished 8th.

David had a storming ride in beginner, finishing third, including reeling in a guy after most of the race who had had a big lead. Proof that being in a race in which you're competitive brings out your best.

Liam had a great start and hung on for 10th, narrowly outsprinted for 9th by former Symetrics pro and race sponsor Tony Zarsadias, and was first cadet. Evan was 16th of the 47 starters, 3rd junior. And Chris Macleod had a great debut, started late but working his way up to 13th in beginner. (Redemption was to come soon; the following Saturday he beat the all the other u15's to win in Nanaimo.)

Sweet work Brad! Gotta love that "trailer" mode in iMovie eh? Those Apple software folks must have fun making that stuff.

Do you have the 960 or the 1080 hero cam? What would you recommend?

Eric

Eric,

I have the 1080P model.. the full HD one. Not cheap, but provides more modes including at 60fps mode perfect for slo-mo playback. Yeah, iMovie makes me look like I know what I'm doing...
