What's the conditions of the roads like nowadays? Anyone been up that way recently?

Looking forward to the food.

Really like the new route and idea of finishing at Cowichan with a BBQ. The coffee principal of Tripleshot applied larger to a weekend ride.

I'd absolutely be doing this, but my family moved a camping weekend at Hornby with two other families up from the labour day weekend because of the track championships, so I am hooped. This year. Next year, in.

I'm in. Switch Bridge at 6:15? Chances are we won't have seven flats between there and OBB Westshore and miss the start again this year.

Fairfield / Oak Bay / Eastsiders: Pareto at 6:00? No sense riding solo until we have to.

Roads were perfectly fine when we did the VI Gram Fondo a few months back.

I'm in. Anyone crazy enough to ride home too from Cow Bay via the Mill Bay Ferry? I am contemplating it, but I think I will let the legs decide on the day.

Hmm...possibly. I will say that the idea of sitting around Cow Bay (BBQ or not) until they decide to bus us back to Vic doesn't appeal to me all that much. Wouldn't want to leave it too last minute to make the call, however, as we'd need to plan to bring extra food, water, etc...

Sorry, I meant Lake Cowichan, not Cowichan Bay.

Good plan, Brian....we can gorge on burgers, sausages, and coke at the BBQ before finishing the ride back to Vic!

that's a final stop at the lake. May try to convince someone to bring the boat up and we can get out and stretch our hamstrings waterskiing
