I haven't heard stellar reviews about the Bontrager wheels from the riders on Glotman Simpson who used them. They're pretty heavy from what I've heard and IMO the seller is asking a bit much for them.

http://www.gearscan.com/items/REY0021 just as on example of what can be had for much less.

I'm not much of an authority on modern wheels, but Brad's seemed competitive when he showed me his stuff, way cheaper, plus he is here to repair, etc, and can get parts.

I have a beautiful pair of Ultegra tubeless wheels from Barton with flawless hubs and spokes, but worn out rims that are un-useable and unrepairable.

Brad's, you could grind 'em down all winter and have 'em rebuilt.

Oh, and an update, my impression that Shimano hubs are the only ones with a bearing out at the right dropout was wrong (which helps prevent axle bending and bearing wear). They have a patent on a certain freehub attachment that allows this, and were the first, but other hubs now have bearings out there. Like Brad's suppliers.
