Adam Update

so its been a week! TT (7th), Crit (6th), RR (5th) afew more races and our man child may hit the podium! Overall awesome by Happy Feet!

An update from Adam's Mom:

hi Peter just a quick note to let you Adam made it to the National Team! 8 junior men were selected and 8 junior women hot day today,many dropped out from heat exhaustion and a pack sprint to the finish line. 5th place for Adam...there had been a couple of breakaways but always caught by the pack...oh my god .... what a finish!

so 7th in the TT 6th in the Criterium and 5th in the Road Race....a consistently good race and result for all three events.

After the final race the riders who were in the mix for nationals had to wait until the selection was finalized and posted one hour later. Then the scramble to shower, change, eat and pack.

He and Annie have gone from Cycling BC to the camp Edgewood close to Guelph, on Saturday they travel to Bromont, Quebec and from there tothe tour d'Abitibi (6 days in Abitibi I believe) Abitibi is the selection race for the 4 of the 8 junior men who will go to Worlds.
