Definitely important info on risks to nerves.

But I think a major point is missing from the article. If you are flexible, you don't actually sit on your perineum (the soft bit w nerves), you sit on your ischial tuberosities, your sit bones. If you're tight, your pelvis rolls forward onto the perineum.

I do regular back, hip, hamstring flexibility and have no perineum issues. But if I don't, I go numb, uh, there.

I think it's less useful to sell a new saddle than it is to remind cyclists they need flexibility as an important fitness component.
