Tuesday, May 17 - B Ride

Today was my first Tuesday after a long winter of spluttering infections and slothfullness, and I gotta say: I've never been in a 25+ person ride that kept it together so well and rode as smooth and brisk the whole way. (I recorded an average of 32 km/h -- a bit higher than our advertised 27-30 km/h B-ride speed!) Welcome to Gabriel and any other newbies I missed.

With the snowy Olympics framing Trial Island, it was a good day to be a Tripleshotter...

A great morning indeed...but perhaps we need to recalibrate our post-ride coffee expectations! Seriously dude, 25 Americanos?! :P

Yeah, I was pretty jumpy all morning. I saw about 30-35 riders at Pareto, so ordered 25 when I was first to arrive at Moka House.

Where do all you people go? Why not drink coffee in the sunshine next time? 8) They make decaf, too.

Hmmm, clearly not 'training' enough; tolerance is down...

There you go, pulling through too fast again. Short pulls, remember? (The TS rule of thumb is nobody pulls, er, buys more than 10.) Don't want to blow up the line, err...scare off the newcomers for when it's their turn to pull, er, buy.

And if you have pulled, umm, bought recently, don't be afraid to sit-in, I mean, offer the chance to someone else. I've been in line to pull, ahem, pay a few times and got beat out by people overzealous on the 'front'.
