3 May TT - Race Report

ITS BAAAAACK
TT#1 went last night and we had Jen, Roland, Adam, Jeremy and myself out sporting the argyle around the course. Bit tough conditions - cold and windy but what a course! Sadly Jeremy flatted (but was waaay smarter than the rest of us and snagged a ride home). Roland may have has a teeny tiny bit of regret for all the attacking he did on the morning ride but at least he set a low benchmark time for the year
On the other hand I ran scared the whole time as I was seriously afraid that Adam on his road bike was going to spank me on my full on tt bike (incl. disc, pointy hat etc) and I would have to take up a new sport - like checkers. Fortunately I held him off and live to ride another day!
Results arent up yet but we dont need results to know it was a great course and a ton of fun. I really encourage anyone who is wondering about racing to try this. Its a tt so you race on your own. Also it is a great way to measure your improvement be it week over week or year over year.
